Podcasting for Teaching and Learning
Two great articles that discuss the benefits of differentiated instruction of students when technology is used in the classroom are:

Great to see you doing this! I think the kids would love to blog on the computer about their reading. Don't you think each teacher should have a blog so they can conference with their readers? I am going to start one to talk with children about their reading. Maybe the Sadler children can write, too?
I also finally read your prison library paper! Thanks for your patience. I enjoyed reading it. Great idea to send CDs home to the little children. So sad, too. Certainly a huge need. Made me think about some of our children.

Great to hear from you! You need to create that blog - check on my blog about how I created this one. It was REALLY easy and very fun too. Let me know when you have it up and running! I know that the students would love to talk about their reading - It would also be great for discussing the BOB books.
I appreciate your comments about the prison paper - I hope to go see the library at the county jail before school starts.
